Summary: Overall our stay was positive and pleasant. Check-in was somewhat inefficient due to the key card machine not functioning properly, which required guests to be escorted to their rooms. We experienced some difficulty with the heating and cooling unit. The room was quite warm upon arrival, and when we attempted to cool it, the unit shut off. Someone did come and set the heat to 65 degrees. While this prevented the heat from running, it didn’t actively help cool the room at the time. Later, my husband went to the front desk to request a fan and was advised to open the window. Had we known the windows were operable from the beginning, we would have done so, as we generally assume hotel windows are locked. On a positive note, the room was very clean, the employees were polite and helpful, and the bed was comfortable. The room itself was spacious, the location made it easy to get to our event, and the shower had excellent water pressure. I did not try the breakfast due to allergies, but it appeared to be a standard hotel hot breakfast.
