Summary: This place was the most amazing, warm, friendly, and loving hotel I’ve ever had the privilege of staying. The entire hotel is run by a phenomenal family—so incredibly kind, loving, and welcoming. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival and they showed us a map of the town, asked how they could help, and made great suggestions for dinner. The gentleman drove my family and I to the Snow Monkey Park and drove us to the train station the next morning. We had the most delicious cheeseburgers that we have ever had in our whole lives at the restaurant downstairs and enjoyed time in the recreation room playing pool, chess, and other fun games. The onsens on the property were very clean, hot, and relaxing. I got to experience the open air and enclosed onsen during my stay and both were so peaceful. When we left, the whole family came outside to wave goodbye to us and bow. It was truly the most amazing and authentic Japanese hotel throughout our 1-month of travel across this amazing country! I would recommend this place to every soul on planet earth :)
