From the moment the glowing pink sunrise pours into the living room, to the dramatic sunsets to enjoy while enjoying a cocktail on the terrace, this corner, top floor home is flooded with sunlight all day from 270 degrees of exposure (don’t worry— we have black out shades in the bedrooms and sun shades in the living area, and you’ll need them!) Thoughtfully designed yet cozy and comfortable, our home is filled with many artistic touches, including large original artworks by local Greenpoint artist Steve Wasterval.
This is not a professional property, this is our home and we are renting it for the summer while we are away. Best for either a couple or a young family as the second room is very much a children’s room (with plenty of toys and books that a child ages 3-6 will enjoy!)
The terrace contains an 8 person dining table, 2 chaise lounges and a couch for sunning. The master bedroom is spacious and has a en-suite bathroom with a bidet and a walk in closet that will be partially emptied for your use. The living room has an 8 person dining table and open kitchen floor plan. Washer and dryer, dishwasher, kitchen aid, microwave, toaster, gas range stove, sharp knives and loads of kitchen supplies as we cook every night. There is also a gas grill on the patio with extra propane tanks.
The doorman building has a fully equipped gym on the main floor. Also comes with a parking spot (!!!) behind the building which, if you know you know is a very special convenience for the area (there is also a garage below the nearby Whole Foods which makes food shopping a breeze if you’re into that sort of thing.)
The apartment comes with bi-weekly cleaning by our cleaning lady that has been with us for 10 years which we can arrange with your schedule.
Cannot say enough about the location: 2 short blocks to the Bedford L station (you can actually see it from the terrace) which is only one stop to manhattan. Down the street from the William Vale, The Wythe Hotel, Lilia’s, Llama Inn, Nura, Hotel Delmano, Smorgusburg, Cafe Mogador, and too many more amazing bars and restaurants to count.
Looking for someone low key who wants to live the local experience in the most convenient spot in Williamsburg and will take care of our place while we are away!
